Tour Itinerary

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage :
A sanctuary home to rescued elephants, famous for their daily
river bathing in the Maha Oya River. A must-see for animal lovers.

Kandy:
Nestled in the hills, Kandy is the cultural capital of Sri Lanka and
a UNESCO World Heritage City. Known for its sacred Buddhist sites, cool
climate, and the scenic Kandy Lake.

Overnight: Pinnawala

Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa): 

The holiest Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka, believed to house a
relic of Lord Buddha’s tooth. Set beside the lake, this is a site of deep
spiritual and historical importance.


Royal Botanical Gardens – Peradeniya:

Once a royal retreat, this vast garden is home to 4,000+ plant
species, including rare orchids and majestic palm avenues.

Kandy City Walk or Cultural Show (optional):

Explore the colonial architecture and vibrant local markets, or
enjoy a traditional Kandyan dance performance in the evening.

Ramboda Waterfalls:

One of the most beautiful waterfalls on the route, surrounded by
lush green hills.

Tea Factory & Plantation Visit:


Experience Sri Lanka’s world-famous Ceylon Tea production
firsthand. Learn how tea leaves are picked, processed, and brewed —
with a fresh cup to finish.

Nuwara Eliya:
Often called “Little England” for its colonial charm and cool
climate. Expect English-style bungalows, gardens, and misty mountain
views.

Overnight: Nuwara Eliya

Gregory Lake:
A lovely spot for a walk, paddle boat ride, or just relaxing by the
lakeside with mountain views.

Seetha Amman Temple:

A colourful Hindu temple tied to the Ramayana legend, believed to
be where Sita was held captive.

Strawberry Farms or Hakgala Botanical Garden:

Enjoy locally grown strawberries or wander through Sri Lanka’s
second-largest garden.

Overnight: Nuwara Eliya

Bentota / Ahungalla / Kalutara:

These are idyllic beach towns on Sri Lanka’s southwest coast,
offering golden sands, turquoise waters, and a laid-back vibe. Perfect for
rest and rejuvenation.

Overnight: Kalutara

Madu River Boat Safari (optional):

A scenic boat trip through mangroves and islets, home to birds,
monkeys, and even a fish spa stop!

Turtle Hatchery Visit:

Learn about sea turtle conservation and see hatchlings ready to be
released to the ocean.

Galle Fort (optional half-day tour):

A beautifully preserved UNESCO World Heritage Site, Galle Fort
features cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, and oceanfront views.
